NOËL! NOËL! Christmas with the Bournemouth Sinfonietta Choir in Dorchester

NOËL! NOËL! Christmas with the Bournemouth Sinfonietta Choir in DorchesterOnly a week to go before the Bournemouth Sinfonietta Choir comes to Dorchester for its annual Christmas concert. This is a splendid opportunity for all music lovers to get into the festive spirit. The Choir – one of the area’s top chamber choirs – is bringing its popular Christmas soirée NOËL! NOËL! to Dorset County Museum on Wednesday 18th December 2013.

NOËL! NOËL! is a programme of seasonal music and readings, both familiar and new, performed with the excitement and rich tone for which the Choir is noted. It has been enjoyed by capacity audiences in Dorchester in previous years and the event is made even more festive by mulled wine, mince pies and carols. Come to the Museum at 7.30pm for a glass of mulled wine and a private viewing of the galleries before the performance starts at 8.00 pm.

The Choir’s director, David Gostick, says: “For us, NOËL! NOËL! in Dorchester is one of the highlights of our concert season. We love exploiting the acoustics and atmosphere of the County Museum and getting into the festive spirit”.

Tickets cost £12.00 (including seasonal refreshments) and are available from the Dorchester Tourist Information Centre 01305 267992; from the Bournemouth Sinfonietta Choir’s box office 01722 710511; or online at
